Most Common Ants to Look Out for in South Jersey
Pavement Ants
You know where to look for these ants – on the pavement. You will likely see them hiding in the cracks in your driveway, your home’s foundation, or concrete patios. They are minuscule creatures, less than ¼ of an inch, and don’t move quickly. They are generally black or brown in color.Carpenter Ants
Carpenter ants are some of the largest common ants, measuring in at around half an inch long. They are usually black but are sometimes shades of dark red.
